这个“振动模式”用英语该怎么说？可不能说成“shake mode”哦。

而经常被我们误用的“shake”，是指幅度比较大的晃动。
比如：
shake hands (with someone ) （和某人）握手
shake your head 摇头

不能用于手机这种轻微的震动。
手机震动时，会发出嗡嗡的声音，这个拟声词我们使用的是：
buzz
例：
My phone is buzzing. Maybe it's my roommate texting me.
我的手机在震动，可能是室友给我发信息了。
如果说“手机真的在响”，带铃声的那种，可以直接用“ring”。
例：
She answered her phone on the first ring.
手机刚一响，她就接了。
当手机需要调成“静音模式”，我们可以用：
put the phone on mute/ set the phone to mute
例：
It’s polite to set your phone to mute or turn it off when you are on a meeting.
